I don't think it is dead, but, i do think it is struggling through getting their diamond export and sales going and running efficiently. From that, they can further their processing efforts in the Kono as their cashflow begins to increase. This time frame is a lot of "hurry up and wait". The hope is that the recipe is working and that more diamond parcels can make it through the labyrinth of paper work to be exported.
In all likelihood, there is lots of things going on in the background that they do not feel comfortable sharing. Furthermore, things are likely going a lot slower than originally anticipated. Again, I think this is due to the cashflow problem exemplified by having the diamond processor partner fly to SL to hand pick the best stones to be exported. I think this is an effort to infuse high value material into the process in an effort to ween off of the dilution.
I see this as a good sign, actually. This means that they are not staying the "business as usual" that Risk keeps describing. They are trying to change the dynamic. Will it work? We shall see. At this point, the old mode was leading us to oblivion. maybe this new effort can spark some life here.
Again, it takes cash to make cash. This delay and focus on diamond exports may bring us the cash to move forward. I am pretty certain that the processing equipment is now consolidated and will be usable through the rainy season assuming the cash issue gets worked out.
All of this, of course, is my own opinion. I only have what everyone else has and am looking for the logical path that the company is on . This stealth mode is driving me nuts too.
JMHO.
