It's certainly not foolish to ask PTOI whether they've found any situation so far where the process adds value, economic or otherwise, or whether they're still looking for a useful application. That's not placing any restriction on the process--that's just asking if the process is an "already found a good use" or a "hoping with fingers crossed that this goal-less R&D finds an application to fit it."
