Good post, wood. I don't doubt we have some promising products in our pipeline. I just don't like the CEO to make promises that he never had any intention of fulfilling! (Non-dilutive financing, Financial Engineering, Increasing Shareholder value, Lympro Partner, LymPro revenue that will change the math, etc, etc, etc)
In hindsight, Gerald's "open communication" seems like he was trying to get shareholders excited about the "near term" when he really didn't have any near term catalysts capable of doing much.
MANF is a long way off! He knows it, John and Joe know it, and they concocted a strategy of getting shareholders excited about the "near term" with Lympro .... "We're there"....but of course LymPro was never really there!
Gerald now has to either put up or shut up. And for a CEO to have to shut up because his credibility has been squandered means he needs to be replaced.
