Great minds think alike. It certainly doesn't seem logical that the Mini-evacuation tests should actually be a test to collect failure data about the deficiently designed slides at Baltia's expense. If the crew performed in accordance with the required FAA standards then it only seems logical they they should be given the thumbs up regardless of the failure of these poorly designed slides. If these things were part of a military contract they would ground the entire fleet of aircraft. As a 35 year flight test engineer I have seen that happen many times.
