In Maui's mind if you're not a long willing to wait 5 to 10 years for a pay off.....you're not a "true long."
More mature minds understand that people have very different "time horizons" and goals. Some longs may expect a handsome return in a shorter time frame, like 1 or 2 years.
In 2013 and early 2014 Gerald gave longs with a 1 year time frame forecasts that caused them to expect great things. So far, it just hasn't happened. This is why some longs have grown restless. It doesn't mean they are not longs, they just have a different time horizon than Maui.
Can someone explain this to him in his own unique language?
