dont know why they list 2179 OTCQB co's in trading summary when only 500 have met the new standards - basically 1c min bid and $10,000/yr surcharge to be listed as otcqb

OTCQB Venture Marketplace Reaches 500 Verified Companies; OTCQB Composite Index Launches
On February 26th, OTC Markets Group announced we approved 500 companies to trade on our OTCQB Venture Marketplace under our new standards. These 500 verified OTCQB companies have a median market capitalization of $10.53 million and include U.S. and international companies listed on qualified venture exchanges such as the TSX Venture Exchange and Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE). All have met improved standards that promote marketplace integrity and enhance transparency for investors.
