Yes. Cognitive dissonance. A person can't hold shares, see Mr. Bordynuik lie and dump shares, and denigrate Mr. Bordynuik all at the same time. One of those three has to give. Some people resolve that conflict by selling--others resolve the conflict by making themselves believe that Mr. Bordynuik is honest or by simply disregarding any evidence showing Mr. Bordynuik is dishonest.
If investors start to believe that Mr. Bordynuik is dishonest then their "world's most advanced" pyrolysis process vanishes and that's not an outcome they want.
