Gotta love and respect a stubborn single minded Scientist that is willing to completely disregard everything else and only focus on one thing to find THE one answer he is looking for.

I'd be concerned and quiet worried if a Scientist had an open mind and was willing to work with a number of different possibilities to search for any type of step forward.

I mean think about it, the possibilities could be endless. How could they ever come up with any progress if they didn't have a completely closed and focused mind.
