The flaw in all this though, even with a financial advisor, broker, whatever, telling us to stay away from pennies, below $5 or below $1, most people just have an online account, buy a penny stock, and there's no warning at all. I'm sure there's a disclaimer on each site somewhere, but it does not pop out every time one places a penny stock order.
