ScripsAmerica Launches Diabetes Patient Supply Program through Main Avenue Pharmacy

TYSONS CORNER, VA / ACCESSWIRE / January 12, 2015 / ScripsAmerica, Inc. (OTCQB: SCRC) today announced that the Company has launched a diabetes patient supply program through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Main Avenue Pharmacy.
Through the new program, ScripsAmerica now has the ability to provide diabetes patients in certain states with medical supplies that are only available through a physician's prescription and typically covered by medical insurance and Medicare. Main Avenue Pharmacy will work directly with manufacturers and suppliers to provide diabetics with the top medical supplies and will store some inventory of this medical equipment as needed.
Medical supplies that the Company will provide include, but are not limited to meters, test strips, swabs, pens, lancing devices and lancets. The global market for products in the management of diabetes currently stands at $41 billion and is on pace to grow to over $114 billion by 2018, according to a recent report by "Research and Markets."
