Urano has mentioned from the start he has like 3 phases to his wolframs strategy. The first phase was to identify drugs that are already FDA approved for other indications to see if they could stop the progression of wolframs. That phase didn't include MANF. And so that MANF was not mentioned in today's article is not a total surprise.

MANF plays into restoring damage caused by wolframs. I don't know when we'll hear how that is progressing.
