Couple of thoughts. Why would either company, Amarantus or PsychoGenics, benefit from other companies knowing the terms of the deal? How would that aid them in their next deal? Also remember Dr. Lowe, PhD was CSO at PsychoGenics so Amarantus knew what Eltoprazine was worth. Smart to keep it private if you could, which they can.

Beyond competitors, given how much the mb worries over details, it would also be another excuse for endless bashing and debates (i.e. payment is coming due, they don't have money, etc.)
