Site specific zoning has been used by other municipalities in granting permits for marijuana grow facilities. It means each site must be rezoned for the purpose of growing marijuana. This entails local and provincial approval and can delay the approval process by months. This is NOT being adopted by Lakeshore which is a relief for future applications.
