The likely scenario is that Rick was hired by management to move shares early this year so that previous debt holders could sell. There never was any oil deal and the only one who didn't know that was Naumu. Naumu was brought in by his "buddy" Rick thinking that this was a golden opportunity with promises of funding that Naumu could use to fund his oil deals. When Naumu realized that he was a pawn he got cold feet and has since distanced himself from this charade. Now without him what do they have? An empty shell....
