jacmar: As great a blessing as Amgen was for you, you have to be careful not to let it become a curse. Amgen was rare! Most small biomed penny stocks never go anywhere or even fail. Very few enjoy even a small part of the success Amgen has had. You shouldn't make the mistake of thinking AMBS is Amgen. It might be, but the odds of that happening at this point, are still very small.
We hope AMBS succeeds. Until we receive FDA approval for a MANF indication in 4 years, we are still a babe in the woods and I'd say it is a bit overconfident of you to refer to those of us with "concerns" as "fickle." This is a risky stock. Shareholders should have concerns. To not have concerns about this kind of stock, at the stage we're at, would indicate an insufficient awareness of the very real risks we face!
So I don't think "fickle" is an appropriate word. I doubt you would want us to refer to you as "smug" because you believe AMBS' future success is guaranteed?
For those of us with pps concerns, LymPro is our short term saving grace. If it weren't for the short term promise of LymPro revenue.....I would never have had the patience to buy AMBS and wait for MANF. But together, LymPro + MANF, makes it so my "concerns" are manageable. But no doubt some of us have been severely tested in recent months. And don't think Gerald hasn't had to change his underwear a few times, too!
This stock is a roller coaster and it will continue to be for some time. It's a very different ride than a merry go round. Screaming and shouting on a roller coaster is very natural.
