Seems to me that they must be expecting pretty good revenue soon. People here should be happy that there are clear incentives in this deal because they outline what the board expects to happen. Had this deal not included incentives and just paid more money without regard for progress, then I could see being upset. I see this as a good sign of what's to come and think people need to stop whining.
If GC was 55, not a former football player, and (dare I say) white, there would be far less criticism of him (just my opinion). He's not perfect but no CEO is and if the board believes he's deserving of this, then I'm fine with it because I invested in the entire company and don't fixate on the CEO like others seem to. I don't understand why some people continue to stay invested in this if they are as dissatisfied as they seem.
Warp mentioned in a previous post that some people will always find something to complain about. This is yet another example of that. If you don't see how this compensation package is a good sign, then you need to stop focusing on the trees and start seeing the forest.
