ADP: U.S. adds 118,000 private-sector jobs in Nov.
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — The U.S. added 118,000 private-sector jobs in November, ADP estimated Wednesday, as 114,000 services jobs were created. The gains were exactly in line with the MarketWatch-compiled estimate. Gains in construction jobs of 23,000 more than offset the 16,000 decline in manufacturing employment, ADP added. The estimated gain from September to October was revised down slightly from the initial estimate of 158,000, to 157,000.
