Coming up: U.S. third-quarter productivity
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) – The increase in U.S. productivity in the third quarter is expected to be revised up to 2.8% from an initial estimate of 1.9%, according to economists surveyed by MarketWatch. The first of two revisions to the report will be released at 8:30 a.m. Eastern by the Labor Department. Productivity grew 1.9% in the second quarter and fell 0.5% in the first quarter.
