I agree with you, in that I find a flight exactly as you stated. I also believe your way of finding flights to be true for 90% of the people out there. Destination, date, duration of flight (layovers) price, time of day, Airline carrier. In that order influence my ticket purchase.
That being said we still need a marketing plan to sell to large corporate buyers, We need to sell Shares and Ownership. We need to sell the idea of a successful company. Need to sell the idea of a company that is going to make money for ownership . This is why we need a marketing campaign.
