Re: Lostintheflood5 #7088
Am I the only person who thinks advertising Baltia is sort of a waste of time and money?
When you are trying to book a flight, there's a reason you're booking a flight. I don't see an American Airlines commercial and think "I should go book a flight right now." Minor advertising, fine, but nothing crazy. I go on Orbitz or Expedia or whatever, and I search for flights to my destination. Then I see what's cheapest, or what's a direct flight, or what's at the times I want, or whatever, and pick a flight. Maybe you'll get people that don't fly it because "I've never heard of Baltia." But more than likely, I think you'll get people that are thinking, "oh, there's a direct route to where I want to go that's 4 hours shorter? i'm interested." You're not getting people that see an ad or a commercial for Baltia and say, "that's it, we're going to Russia!"
Just my opinion, but I think marketing, while not pointless, isn't really THAT necessary in this industry. Call me crazy.
