I would like nothing more than to have the charges be proven to have been trumped up.

I have no idea why the author would use an unsettled case in his book.

If JBII et. al. is exonerated and P2O becomes wildly successful this story will have Hollywood written all over it.

If it turned out that Gerard M. Zack is Gerard Mooney / scion it would only make the story better. Somehow I doubt that's the case, but anything's possible with this soap opera.

I hope the craziness of the message boards isn't left on the cutting room floor.
