Well so far the set-top-box went over with little fan fare. That's because it was not presented in a formal PR in yet again another attempt to save money. These boxes and the code they contain will shortly be required by cable companies and the patents for the scheduling and speedy distribution of streaming will be necessary. It will be nothing for companies like Comcast or Verizon or Charter to order 6 or 7 million boxes at a time.
We are not yet at the beginning of the biggest boom in business history but we are close.
When the code becomes 4GLDB indexing to increase speed that will be the real beginning.
