I actually do fly airplanes but unfortunately, I'm now flying a twin TurboProp.  I used to fly jets (hence the nickname), but my career took a different turn.

As for weekly options, I sell them as well for the same reasons you mentioned.  Currently looking at VXX which is bouncing off historically low numbers.  I can't see the volatility in the market going down much further which means VXX and VIXY have to go up soon.  I like VXX better because it has weekly options, VIXY does not.
