Here's something I found to be a truism...when a company starts complaining about and blaming shorts, that's a company whose shares you don't want to own. Likewise JBI/Mr. Bordynuik sent me a cease and desist letter year ago, not because I was doing anything wrong by posting my admittedly highly unflattering opinion about Mr. Bordynuik, but because Mr. Bordynuik wanted me to shut up.
I don't know the story with TRTC but certainly if that short seller made false statements then he or she should be held accountable. Note there's a difference between false and negative. But typically a company, which wants to point fingers at posters on message boards, isn't legit.
Investors should be wary of those marijuana stocks in particular. After all the press which Colorado got after legalizing marijuana, a bunch of shady operators jumped on the bandwagon with the purpose of selling a story and stock. I would say only about 10% of the marijuana stocks are run by honest people. One of the money drains I watch, FRTD, has recently jumped into that space. That company has done little except changing business plans to suit investor interest, selling stock and reverse splitting to reset. FRTD has changed their name about a dozen times in the past fifteen years.

Yes, I understand your penny stock also is the real deal, created with the inventiveness of Edison and destined to be the next Microsoft. Yes, I understand that the delays are also only because your company is making their product and/or technology even more revolutionary.
