We are guaranteed a license, here is what a "Ready to build Letter" means:
A "ready to build" letter is received by an applicant seeking to become an MMPR producer /distributor that does not have a production facility in place. Health Canada realized that it would be onerous for any group or individual as well as a leap of faith, to build a major facility and wait for a license to use it so they have a provision that permits a company or individual to be approved to the level that their application is complete and that they have passed the requisite criminal background checks. They are then given assurances that if they build a facility and it meets the requirements for a licensed producer/distributor operation then a producer /distributor license will be granted upon final inspection.
