I work in Michigan and a guy named Clint Shears (you can look him up on a Google search) is a current licensed grower in the State of Michigan and his claim is that Michigan House Bill 660 which passed the Michigan State legislature this past December is changing the current system of individual growers and turning over the supply to large super growers similar to Canada.
He repeated several times on Yahoo message boards that his "days as a grower were numbered" and he was investing in FITX
You see FITX has their home offices in Madison Heights Michigan. FITX won't necessarily have to ship the product across the boarders when all they have to do is build a facility in the US and grow it domestically within the limits of the law. That is why they positioned themselves to supply pharmacies.
I will try to look up these resources and post them here so it has some substance to prove it and not just my words.
