I understand your point as much as I understand the others. The frustrating truth is that the Federal government is more bloated today than it ever has been. The FAA is no different, especially with the new certification process. I'm sure that Baltia felt their timelines were accurate when they developed them in the preceding years.
Fact is that the FAA is still working with them, which means that the process is still happening. There have been budget cuts across the board - the fact that the FAA is still in the game gives me a good warm and fuzzy as they would not be wasting their time if they felt that Baltia was a lost cause.
Things are happening now that weren't happening this time last year. That indicates progress. You cannot deny that Baltia is closer now than they were then. Everyone is frustrated that we aren't off the ground yet, but griping just for the sake of griping is just...griping.
