Or I guess there is still the possibility that the plane was "stolen" by one of the pilots and landed on some unused airfield somewhere.....but did it have enough fuel to accomplish this?

More and more evidence is coming out that the plane was being navigated....heading towards different waypoints as it flew towards the Indian Ocean.

If it was a suicide mission or if it was designed to steal the plane to be used for some other horrible act in the future.....either way.....I believe the fate of the passengers on board is of little concern to those who orchestrated this act. 

You don't steal a 777 to use it in a future terrorist attack and...while you are at it....make sure the passengers are dropped off in a safe local.

Horrible incident.  I assume all we can now hope for is some kind of closure for the friends and relatives of those on board.
