funny - simulator training is an 8 day process (I guess)  - but it is really a milestone for the company itself....  Like being in continuous Nuetral, and Simulator training is first gear.  Probably why so many people are all over this.   Quite frankly, nothing else matters.... they can get x, y, and z done, but simulator training is now a watershed event.  It is the event where the 3 entities are FINALLY on the same page.  It is an event of substance.
