Here's an interesting, more in-depth read about the "Detroit"- current situation and future. That is, Cirque's future as well.
One of many things in this article that got my special interest:
"Pulte also said it would be smart to consider opening a construction debris and recycling depot in the city as part of the blight effort. Such a depot could help control disposal costs."
That's what we also want:
" Detroit C&D Operation – The City of Detroit has over 90,000 vacant and derelict structures that need to be demolished or rehabilitated. Our plan is to construct a C&D recycling center for repurpose and recovery of C&D wastes, as well as future energy production. We continue to work on development of this project with a goal of operations by the end of 2014."
