It makes no sense to me that JBI would leak the summary, only to retract the conclusions in that summary. It does not make the story any better for them. Why wouldn't they just keep the information to themselves and the $10 million investors and not say anything?
Those investors, and all prior investors, were hurt by "the conclusions drawn by SAIC (that) were based upon a number of assumptions made at the time of the report that may be outdated or incorrect or that may prove to be incorrect in the future."
JBI provided the assumptions to SAIC. SAIC reported based on those assumptions. JBI knew those assumptions were completely bogus.
