I think they've carried on mining this whole time. I think they have used the money from the operations to fund the mill expansion to move the mine into a much more attractive takeover proposition.

I still honestly belive there is a lot of undiscovered gold in them there hills! LOL ( Add funny Long John Silver accent for good effect!) only 20% of the concession has been explored and I seem to remember that some of the  veins that have been discovered go into neighbouring licences. To me that is evidence of substantial undiscovered mineral deposits and a highly prospective licence area. 

I'm kinda half thinkning that they have made their representations to the SEC (provided them with copies of the contracts signed by Kinross etc)  and who knows, SRGE might even be about to return from the grey sheets - but I doubt it - but that's by choice in my view.

I think Momraptor was saying the company was going to move to another exchange so that they could avoid this kind of situation ever happening again. I'm hoping that I can get me funds cleared to allow me to invest in some ICBT and then use part of that to top up here.
