Tex, the TigerLynk will always be capable to harvesting the entire tree --- stump and all.  That is what it was designed for.  Remember, the TigerLynk was originally designed for both tree harvesting and underwater mining.  As for how good the Sharc looks, I have addressed this issue in the past and it does not stand up well.
