This kind of thing happens often.  Here's an article about a C-17A Globemaster III landing at Peter O'Knight in Tampa instead of McDill.  I'll tell you this.  I got my pilots license at TPF and it's short for that monster.  Used to fly down to the Keys in a Cherokee 6 at $100/hr.   Nice price then.  Wonder what it is now?
