The wells being drilled in the TMS are 10,000' at a minimum. The wells that TECO drilling will be working on are 500' or less. This is not in the TMS but is a very good project for TECO. They have been working on the TMS for a few years now. The TMS extends into MS around my home.( Wish I had the mineral rights)The wells are coming in at around 1000bopd but are falling off quickly. They are having issues with the permeability of the shale. These wells are costing around $10 million+ each to drill and complete. 7 billion bbls of recoverable oil is a big jump in domestic production. I wish we had the capital to get in on them but they have not perfected this shale yet but have no fear, THEY WILL GET IT DONE!!!
