Herbalife posts 44% higher profit
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF) reported late Monday third-quarter profit, excluding one-time items, rose to $152.1 million, or $1.41 a share, from $111.9 million, or 98 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue for the quarter rose 19% to $1.2 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet had expected the global nutrition company to earn $1.14 a share on $1.19 billion in revenue.
