Your caveat is the key... a split in advance of or absent the uplistings, financials, etc. must not occur. Getmoreshares and I were in the same boat on at least one OTC.
Indeed, this was at low pennies even before any actual results, so it benefits everyone IMO if it retraces to that level before any adjustment to the share structure. Perhaps that effort can/will commence once the court cases are resolved and we receive news from management. Maybe there will be adequate financial relief to mitigate the PR'd status of cashflow, although winning and getting compensated can take time.
Reaching the summit is a lot easier from a higher basecamp. JMO.
