Meet Lindsay Dodsworth
Lindsay Dodsworth brings a wealth of experience to her new role. As a seasoned non-executive director and charity trustee, her resume includes roles at notable organizations. Previously, she was a partner at EY, where her insights into financial strategies greatly contributed to the firm. She has also held significant positions at Mobeus Income & Growth 4 VCT and currently serves on the boards of the Franklin Global Trust and Elveden Farms Ltd.
Alongside her corporate roles, Lindsay has dedicated time to educational and philanthropic causes, acting as Chair of Governors at St. John’s College School in Cambridge and as a Trustee for both Goodenough College and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Her extensive background in venture capital and growth funding is underscored by her 21-year tenure as Director of a Family Office that specialized in such investments. Lindsay's academic credentials include an MA from Cambridge University and a qualification as a chartered accountant through what’s now part of PWC.
Introducing Graeme Gunn
Graeme Gunn is also joining the Board, bringing with him a rich history in private equity and investment. As a founding Partner of SL Capital Partners, he played a crucial role in shaping a firm known for its focus on venture capital and private equity. Following that, he joined 3 Bridges Capital, diving into M&A advisory services. His leadership experience extends to his position as Chairman of the TravelTech company Maison Sport and serving as a non-executive director at Cypress Creek Private Strategies, a US investment fund dedicated to private equity and real estate.
Graeme qualified as a Chartered Accountant with part of PWC and holds a Master of Engineering degree from Edinburgh University. His blend of technical expertise and practical experience in investment will be a valuable asset to the Company.

Both Lindsay and Graeme will serve on key committees, including the Audit & Risk Committee, Management Engagement Committee, and Nomination & Remuneration Committee, starting from their appointment date. Their involvement is anticipated to bolster strategic oversight and governance within Octopus Apollo VCT plc.
Farewell to Claire Finn
In addition to the new appointments, it has been announced that Claire Finn will be resigning from the Board. She will complete her duties by stepping down in October following the half-year results process. Claire's contributions since her appointment in September 2021 have been greatly valued, and her leadership will be missed.
