Meet Vallourec's New Head of OCTG, Services, and Accessories
Vallourec, renowned for its innovation in seamless tubular solutions, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jérôme Favre as the new leader of the OCTG, Services, and Accessories Business Line. This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to advancing its operations and enhancing its commercial strategy, placing Jérôme on the Executive Committee effective immediately.
Jérôme brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He previously managed OCTG sales across various strategic regions in the Eastern Hemisphere and is taking over from Laurent Dubedout. The transition period will see him working closely with Laurent to ensure a seamless handover while maintaining the momentum of the group's successful sales initiatives.

The Career Journey of Jérôme Favre
Jérôme first joined Vallourec in 2013 as the Sales Manager for West Africa, where he successfully increased OCTG sales and implemented new service offerings. By 2016, he was appointed as Head of OCTG and Line Pipe Sales for North Africa and Europe, before transitioning to oversee sales for Europe and Africa. His achievements were recognized in 2020 when he became Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Middle East, later broadening his responsibilities to include Europe and Africa. Most recently, he held the position of Sales Director for the Eastern Hemisphere, reinforcing his strong leadership capabilities.
Before entering Vallourec, Jérôme led international business development and export sales at Duons Telecom. He initiated his career at Sofrepost in 2001, where he began as a Project Manager and advanced to Sales Director in logistics solutions for the Middle East.
At 50 years old, Jérôme is not only a seasoned professional but also a graduate of Polytech Lyon with a Master’s in Physics from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I).
