Multiple High-Grade Gold Discoveries

The focus of Harfang’s latest exploration efforts has yielded five high-grade gold discoveries contained within quartz veins found in shear zones. These results highlight the significant potential of previously untouched areas of the property.

Impressive Assay Results

Among the highlights are assay results from grab samples, with values soaring up to 72.4 g/t Au. In total, twelve grab samples showed results exceeding 5 g/t Au, showcasing the richness of the area. The leading three samples returned extraordinary results: 72.4 g/t Au, 28.1 g/t Au, and 26.9 g/t Au.

The Nusa Structural Gold Trend

A significant aspect of these findings is the identification of the Nusa Trend, a newly recognized structural gold trend extending approximately 5 km in a WNW orientation. This trend runs parallel to known Goldhawk and Stu structural trends and expands the property's existing gold footprint to the north by about 1 km.

The exploration campaign has uncovered multiple gold anomalies within an area that hadn't been fully investigated before. The vein system now outcrops for over 400 metres in length and is as thick as 25 metres, indicating substantial mineral potential.

The first major discovery, PEM-18, includes a 15 by 4 metre quartz-calcite vein system hosted in a sheared diorite, producing notable assay results such as 10.50 g/t Au and 6.98 g/t Au. The second, GV-02, features a 40-metre-long shear zone containing quartz-chlorite veins with visible gold, returning impressive assay results highlighted by 26.90 g/t Au. Lastly, the AG-36 discovery involves a similarly rich vein system that yielded an outstanding 72.40 g/t Au.

Further Noteworthy Findings

Additionally, Harfang has made significant discoveries of gold at SM-80 and DV-23. The SM-80 discovery is characterized by a wide shear zone containing quartz veins, while DV-23 features an oxidized quartz vein situated near a separate lithium discovery.

The meticulous sampling program also revealed platinum and palladium mineralization, including peak values of 895 ppb Pd and 438 ppb Pt. The finding of these elements alongside nickel (0.24% Ni) indicates the area's diverse mineral wealth.

Looking ahead, Harfang is preparing for a planned exploration program this fall, which may encompass more prospecting, enhanced channel sampling, and in-depth geological mapping to further investigate these promising areas.
