First Helium's Upcoming Webinar on Exploration Targets
First Helium to Present Webinar on High Impact Exploration Targets
CALGARY, Alberta — First Helium Inc. (“First Helium” or the “Company”) (TSXV: HELI) (OTCQB: FHELF) (FRA: 2MC) recently announced details of an upcoming webinar to showcase the Company's plans for key exploration targets at the 100% owned Worsley property in Northern Alberta during the upcoming fourth quarter. With the aid of an extensive evaluation of newly obtained 3D seismic data, First Helium has pinpointed a noteworthy anomaly within the Leduc Formation that is believed to hold prospects for oil.
Webinar Details
The webinar is scheduled for September 4, 2024, at 2:30 pm Mountain Standard Time, and will be hosted via Microsoft Teams. Participation requires pre-registration by September 3, 2024, at 2:30 pm MST.
Key Opportunities at Worsley
Ed Bereznicki, the President & CEO of First Helium, enthusiastically explained that the geoscience team, led by Marc Junghans, has made significant progress in evaluating both the Leduc oil and Blueridge natural gas prospects. Junghans, though a relatively recent addition to the team, has a remarkable track record of success, having guided Compton Petroleum from 1,500 to over 33,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day as VP of Exploration.
“If successful, our operations at Worsley will potentially lead to immediate cash flow and greatly enhance the development of oil and helium-rich natural gas in collaboration with larger partners if necessary,” highlighted Bereznicki.
Highlights of the Presentation
Following an introduction by Bereznicki, Marc Junghans will provide an in-depth discussion covering two significant exploratory opportunities planned for Q4 2024:
Leduc Formation and Blue Ridge Formation
Leduc Formation: This involves drilling a transformative structural feature targeting oil within the Leduc Formation, potentially accompanied by helium-enriched natural gas.
Blue Ridge Formation: This plan includes the completion and testing of the previously drilled 5-27 horizontal well, with an aim to establish a repeatable and lucrative helium-enriched natural gas play to produce substantial volumes of helium gas.
Leadership and Expertise
Marc Junghans, P. Geol., leads the charge in geology and asset development, bringing over 40 years of rich experience in exploration, development, and asset evaluation across both the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and the U.S. His career includes significant roles in various public and private oil and gas companies, having overseen the drilling of more than 170 horizontal and numerous vertical wells across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
