Exciting Gold Drilling Results and Bulk Sampling at Pardo

Inventus Mining Corp: A Glimpse into Recent Gains
TORONTO – Inventus Mining Corp. (TSXV: IVS), a prominent player in the mining industry, is thrilled to share the latest findings from its grade-control drilling efforts at the Trench 1 North Bulk Sample Site within the Pardo Gold Project. This project, 100% owned by Inventus, is a remarkable jade of opportunity positioned northeast of Sudbury and stands out as a significant part of their portfolio.
Latest Highlights
The results from the Trench 1 North Bulk Sample Site have exceeded expectations, demonstrating a weighted average grade of 4.00 grams per tonne (gpt) gold over an average thickness of 1.50 metres across 28 grade-control drill holes. This drilling campaign signifies a step forward, with plans in motion to extract 10,000 tonnes of material for further evaluation.
Noteworthy drill intercepts from this site revealed impressive grades, including:
- 12.61 gpt gold over 1.68 metres
- 13.88 gpt gold over 1.20 metres
- 10.54 gpt gold over 1.55 metres
- 11.53 gpt gold over 1.20 metres
- 9.38 gpt gold over 1.63 metres
- 6.53 gpt gold over 1.50 metres
- 5.75 gpt gold over 1.66 metres
Bulk Sampling Update
As part of the ongoing bulk sampling project, a total of 14,909 tonnes from two bulk samples have been successfully delivered to McEwen's Stock Mill for processing. Among these, the 007 North bulk sample, which features a drilled weighted average grade of 3.84 gpt gold and a thickness of 1.82 metres, was fully delivered with processing expected shortly. Furthermore, the Trench 1 Bulk Sample contributes an additional 10,093 tonnes which is set for processing in November.
Drilling Campaign Insights
In-depth grade-control drilling at Trench 1 North included 52 shallow holes, strategically placed to delineate the flat-lying gold mineralization, which is critical for the current bulk sampling plans. The assay results are confirming the validity of the mineralization sources identified. By focusing on 7.5 metre centres, the intended extraction of approximately 10,000 tonnes is being realized, ensuring efficient sampling for further analysis.
Processing and Future Expectations
The bulk samples delivered to the processing mill are optimistic, with processing set to commence soon for both the 007 North and Trench 1 samples. These crucial steps not only advance the company’s objectives but also underline the rich potential of the Pardo Gold Project.
Looking Ahead to 2024
Wesley Whymark, President and Head of Exploration at Inventus, shared insight into these promising developments. He noted, “The Trench 1 North results validate the presence of a high-grade, near-surface gold system at Pardo. As the gold prices continue to rise, we're positioned for an exciting phase. The results from our bulk sampling efforts will prove essential in demonstrating both the economic feasibility of surface mining here at Pardo and the enormous potential for a future low-cost scalable mining operation.”
