Previously, Dr. Kaplan held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Prevail Therapeutics, which was acquired by Eli Lilly and Company for $940 million. He also has a wealth of experience in corporate development and strategic roles at various pharmaceutical companies, including Cubist Pharmaceuticals and Biopure Corporation. Dr. Kaplan earned an MBBCh and an M.B.A. from the University of Witwatersrand.
