Donna VanderVries Becomes IAAO President
Donna VanderVries, CAE, AAS, PPS, Esq., has officially stepped into the role of President of the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO). As the newly elected president, she will chair the Board of Directors and oversee all essential meetings with both the Board and the membership.

VanderVries has had a long and dedicated tenure with the IAAO, beginning her journey as a member in 2001. Through her various roles, including Director from 2019 to 2021, Vice President in 2023, and President-Elect/Treasurer in 2024, she has developed a wealth of experience in governance. Her active participation in multiple committees has further solidified her leadership credentials.

The Board welcomed several new members who will serve three-year terms commencing this year. Notable additions include Allen Jolley from Los Angeles County as Region 1 Director, Ginny Whipple from Bartholomew County, Indiana, as Region 2 Director, and Scott Russell from Monroe County, Florida, as Region 3 Director. Billy Burle was elected as Associate Director, enhancing the diverse skills on the Board.
