GLOBAL (GTGP) is a company that is in the business of acquiring exclusive licenses and distribution and reseller contracts on proven technologies in the environmental, green and war fighter industries. The criteria for the licensing or distribution agreements of the technologies are: they must be proven, validated and in use. The business plan of Global is to sublicense the technologies it acquires to companies in geographic regions covered under the original license grant and in exclusive distribution and reseller agreements, to place with appropriate representatives in the covered countries for resale of turn key projects.

MSE is Montana's largest private-sector technology research, development, and engineering services company. We have more than 30years of experience working with the Department of Energy providing infrastructure services. MSE was originally formed to test and demonstrate Magneto hydrodynamics (MHD) technology at a new federally owned research site in Butte (the U.S. DOE Western Environmental Technology Office (WETO). Through the 1970 and mid-1980s, we broadened our scope in response to increased regional demand for engineering services and for more significant research and testing of the MHD technology. As we completed testing the MHD technology (sponsored by the Department of Energy), we began to explore opportunities to diversify our business base. MSE owns and operates the Mike Mansfield Advanced Technology Center (MMATC) situated on a 53-acre site in Butte, Montana. The facility is nationally known and a recognized, premier testing site with equipment and systems available to test components, equipment, and energy/material handling systems ranging from bench-scale apparatus through engineering-scale demonstrations and full-scale equipment development. Originally, the facility was the U.S. DOE Western Environmental Technology Office (WETO). MSE managed the facility from its inception and successfully privatized it in 1996. MC3000 SCADA Master
The MC3000 monitors real-time data to instantly view and control I/O points anywhere on the network, delivering real-time information that provides intelligent alarm notification, data acquisition, and remote control from a multitude of communication devices. The system offers powerful alarm annunciation, paging, and messaging tools as well as historical trending. These features make the MC3000 SCADA Master ideal to reliably monitor and control a wide variety of industrial applications, such as hydro power plants, utility substations, communications towers, water and wastewater plants, and energy management systems. The MC3000 SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) Master is a multi-user, real-time HMI/SCADA solution for hydro and substation automation, communications monitoring, and plant control. It collects valuable data from a wide variety of devices, including substation computers, Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs). The program is ideally suited for small to large sized monitoring and control projects that require reliability, performance, and scalability. The MC3000 SCADA Master is reliable, fast, secure, easy to use, and expandable for future needs. The MC3000 contains multiple features that use Ethernet, Intranet/Internet, and dial-up capabilities The system combines advanced Tetragenics software with 32-bit protected mode processing, built-in diagnostics, critical alarm upgrading, security, multi-region/number callout, multiple download options, and electronic CPU printing capabilities. When combined with the WinTetraVision (WTV32) front end GUI, the package is an integrated HMI for SCADA systems. PLASMA
MSE is a leader in the field of plasma technology for military waste treatment including ordnance waste. Our group develops and deploys technologies to resolve Department of Energy, Department of Defense, and commercial waste problems. We have completed more than 80 projects at 26 facilities in 21 states. We provide complete plasma services and testing facilities including mobile units. Plasma technology uses the intense heat of an electric arc to treat the most difficult waste such as nuclear waste, military waste, and chemical waste. The intense heat of the plasma arc destroys all organic constituents and immobilizes all inorganic constituents into an extremely stable glassy slag.
Involved in developing plasma technology since 1989, we offer equipment and experience that few other companies can. We have deployed two plasma waste treatment systems for the U.S. Army -- one in Nevada and the other in West Virginia. We designed, built, and tested these systems at our test facility, the MSE Mike Mansfield Advanced Technology Center. At our plasma test facility, we have successfully tested U.S. pyrotechnic devices, hazardous waste, and simulated nuclear waste. We have also performed offgas emissions testing following EPA protocols.
Baseline Ordnance
The PADS is capable of processing a wide variety of ordnance, energetic materials and explosive components. PADS processing rates of specific items will be dependent upon energy content, chlorine content, physical size, explosive characteristics and fragmentation issues. Processing rates will range from 59 to 408 Kg/hr (130 to 900 lb/hr) for most ordnance items.
MSE has established a list of ordnance items, energetic materials and explosive components that would be expected to result from the demilitarization of munitions. Table 1-1 contains those items, components and materials that are suitable for processing in the PADS. Table 1-1 is not an all-inclusive list, but does represent the types of munitions, components and materials that can be processed in the PADS without further preparation or preprocessing.
Baseline Hazardous Waste
The PADS is capable of processing a wide variety of hazardous and industrial wastes. The processing rates of specific wastes will be dependent upon the energy content, chlorine content and physical size of the waste. Processing rates will range from 8 to 350 Kg/hr (18 to 770 lb/hr).
MSE has established a list of hazardous wastes that have been of interest in the past. This list has been reviewed and feed rates estimated for those wastes for which reasonable characterization data in commonly available. Table 1-2 is not an all-inclusive list of wastes, but does represent the processing rates that can be anticipated for various waste types.
Processing Rates/Ordnance
The processing rate of ordnance and/or hazardous waste is unique to each ordnance item and/or hazardous waste and is controlled principally by total chlorine input, total waste energy release and total gas volume release. In addition feed streams that are principally inorganic will be limited by the thermal input capacity of the plasma torch. The PADS shall be capable of processing the ordnance identified in Table 1-1, or the hazardous wastes identified in Table 1-2 at rates determined by the following limits:
Total waste chlorine: 7.6 Kg/hr (16.0 lb/hr)
Total waste energy release: 2,700,000 Btu/hr
Total waste gas generation: 4.4 Kg/min (9.8 lb/min) (determined by standard combustion equations)
Total solids generation rate: 340 Kg/hr (750 lb/hr)
Munitions in hazard classification 1.1 (mass detonating) and 1.2 (fragment producing) will have additional processing rate limitations. Shock pressure and resulting fatigue considerations will limit 1.1 materials, while fragmentation containment will limit both 1.1 and 1.2 items. 1.1 ordnance items are limited to 0.09 Kg (0.2/lb) NEW or less for continual operation. NEW may be increased up to 0.16 kg (0.35/lb) by decreasing primary chamber inspection interval from annually to quarterly.

Remote Monitoring Applications
How the Meteor Burst Technology Works
To address sensor and monitoring needs of the Department of Energy, MSE researched and identified site monitoring and the status/availability of technologies to meet those needs. Site monitoring, especially post-closure monitoring, typically requires extensive data acquisition, processing, and storage. Monitoring may also be hindered as site infrastructure such as electrical power lines and telephone lines are removed. This design accounts for these elements.
How it works
Micro-meteors entering the Earth's ionosphere (80- to 120-km region) disintegrate, leaving behind trails of ionized atom particles. In the 1950s, scientists discovered that the ionized trails, which are typically tens of kilometers long, could reflect radio waves transmitted from the earth's surface. These radio signals could be reflected over distances of up to 2000-km (1200-miles) between a transmitter and receiver (see the diagram to the right - courtesy of MeteorComm Wireless Communications). Transmission time can vary (seconds to minutes) since the ionized trails rapidly evaporate, losing the ability to reflect radio waves. Most meteor trails last less than 1 second. However, a large meteor can create an ionized trail capable of reflecting radio waves for up to several minutes.
The meteor-burst system uses a transmitter and a receiver at each station. The master collection system continuously transmits a carrier signal to detect a suitable ionized trail to an active remote site. Once the trail is detected, information is transmitted at high speed to and from the remote station during the lifetime of the trail. Information is stored at each end creating a two-way communication system (diagram to the right - courtesy of MeteorComm Wireless Communications).
MSE integrated the Meteor Burst technology into remote environmental monitoring systems. Data from an assortment of sensors (e.g., water pressure, pH, temperature, flow, etc.) can be stored at the remote site on a Campbell Scientific controller/data logger or programmable logic controller (PLC), which uses Meteor Burst radio.
For customers who need remote site data transmitted electronically, MSE has successfully demonstrated a solar-powered remote monitoring system that uses meteor burst technology to transmit multiple data sets and process data. The data can be accessed via the Internet.
Using our experience in automation and control, MSE integrated components and applied the meteor burst technology across a broad range. The system uses Campbell Scientific controllers to acquire and store data from multiple sensors and transmit the data to a stationary ground unit, where it is transmitted to an Internet site.
