Montgomery’s Place
Award for Rehabilitation. Jennifer Spence renovated the neglected Montgomery’s Place building in Carterville into a vibrant restaurant and community gathering space, preserving original features that celebrate local history.
Historic Lawson House
Award for Rehabilitation & Richard H. Driehaus Legacy Award. The rehabilitation of the former Lawson House provides over 400 apartment units and social services for low-income residents, showcasing innovative redevelopment in Chicago.
