$EXSFF VMS Here We Come To our American friends, a Happy Fourth of July!! About a year and a half ago, Glencore Kidd Operations did some horizontal drilling at about the 6,500ft level of the Kidd Mine. The entire operation was veiled in secrecy, and staff were warned any leak would mean instant dismissal. In April 2015, the General Manager of the Kidd Mine admitted publicly that they had drilled horizontally some 1,300meters. Since then, its been suggested by various sources close to the mine that they hit VMS, apparently rich in platinum and palladium, and I would think copper, zinc and a variety of other base elements, similar to what the mine has been producing for 50 years. Chris Dupont believes in the ‘cluster’ effect of VMS deposits, and has gathered a handsome portfolio of properties all around the Kidd Mine. So far, three promising targets have been drilled. However, the MOST promising target, on the North East corner of the Kidd Mine property needed a Permit to use a rural highway to move the deep drill to the location. That Permit was received by the company last Thursday. Its been suggested that Kidd’s new deposit is not only rich in mineral content, but that there’s a strong likelihood that it encroaches onto Explor’s property on the North East corner of the mine site. Its way too early for the Kidd staff to determine the total depth, or circumference of the deposit, so we understand the reasons for secrecy. Timmins locals will hear and feel the rumble of the machines prepping access to Explor’s site today, followed by the deep drill moving onto EXACT coordinates, and breaking ground. Personally, I’ve never been more excited about a drilling process than I am with this one.
Its an amusing coincidence that as the strange NEW group of geologists began looking at the TPW core, a massive offer of 2.2million shares at .14 shows up? Why would anyone with a position of that size, offer the whole thing up at the same time? Even the most inexperienced trader wouldn’t make such a stupid move. I contend its an intentional ploy by very deep pockets to minimize the price of any TPW deal looking forward, or Explor Resources, per se, while they perform their preliminary Due Diligence, in preparation for an offer. Obviously, they would be enthusiastic buyers of any stock offered below that price. So, rather than being discouraged by yet another ‘Evil Dork’, hang on tight, as this ride is about to get very, very interesting. Remember the Hollinger McIntyre modelling done by Explor for the TPW? I’ve seen it, based on ALL the core done back to the 1920’s. This TPW deposit has AT LEAST 20million ounces of GOLD in it!! At US$1,350ounce, that’s US$27BILLION!!! (and climbing). Certainly worth a little skull duggery?? The Teck news; the Ogden results; and an updated MD&A round out an exciting week.
