Wesley Bourland arrives at Stella-Jones with an impressive record of achievements in operations management. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer for a prominent hardwood lumber supplier with a significant presence in North America, Europe, and Asia. Here, he expertly managed over 30 manufacturing and warehousing operations across the U.S., including saw mills, concentration yards, and distribution facilities.
Before this role, he spent 13 years with a company specializing in steel structures, where he excelled in various senior leadership capacities. His roles included Senior Vice-President & General Manager and Senior Vice President of Operations, Quality, and Engineering, showcasing his comprehensive grasp of operational excellence and strategic planning. Wesley's journey also includes a commendable military service as an Operations Officer in the United States Navy, where he honed pivotal leadership skills that have shaped his operational philosophy.

As a trained Mechanical Engineer, Wesley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin. His technical knowledge, paired with his practical experience, equips him to lead Stella-Jones’s operations strategically and efficiently.
