The Artistic Director, violinist Nuvi Mehta, will guide listeners through Beethoven’s legacy with the help of pianist Greg Anderson. It's a night meant to elevate, educate, and enthrall.
And then, on July 24, the sultry operatic prowess of Angel Blue takes the stage at Rancho Campana Performing Arts Center. Known for her magnetic performances in roles from Aida to La bohème, Blue is more than just a singer; she's a sonic storyteller. The Grammy winner will be accompanied by pianist Bryan Wagorn, promising an evening that’ll echo in hearts long after the final bow.
The Rhythm of Latin Jazz
July 25 revs up the tempo at the Majestic Ventura Theater with a celebration dedicated to Latin music. Justo Almario, a titan in the Latin jazz scene, and Jeremy Bosch, a rising star of salsa, are here to spark a fire under Ventura's feet. It’s sax versus voice, traditional Afro-Colombian rhythms clashing with salsa’s infectious cadence. Both artists bring their A-game, setting the stage for an unforgettable collision of cultures and sounds. An Innovative Farewell
The festival’s grand finale on July 26 features the innovative Akropolis Reed Quintet. Dubbed “sonically daring,” they bring fresh energy to the Ventura College Performing Arts Center.
