2024 Salvador Program: What’s Been Accomplished
So far, the ongoing field program at Salvador has delivered a series of tangible milestones:
- PGE mineralization has been identified in 15 of the first 20 Trado holes, underscoring the effectiveness of the current targeting and workflow.
- Sampling of a chromitite outcrop returned high-grade results, including 11.17 grams per tonne of 2PGE+Au.
- Trench mapping and sampling have been completed, with 108 samples sent for assay to build out the near-surface picture.
- Ground geophysical surveys are complete and now being interpreted, pointing to additional PGE potential along trend.

What Trado® Auger Drilling Is Showing
Trado auger drilling has intersected ultramafic rock in 25 of the 35 planned holes, a meaningful datapoint for mapping the geology that hosts the mineralization. Of the total 101 meters planned, 77 meters have been drilled to date. Even at this stage, the program has returned PGE mineralization in multiple samples, strengthening the case for continued systematic drilling.

Trenching: Mapping What’s at Surface
Surface trenching has added another layer of detail. Four trenches totaling 95 meters have been completed, exposing ultramafic rocks and, in places, layers of chromitite. These rock packages help link what’s seen in drilling to what’s mapped at surface. Additional assays from the trenches are pending, and those results will help refine the model and guide the next round of work.
Geophysics and the Road Ahead
ValOre has completed 50 line kilometers of ground surveys focused on magnetics and gamma spectrometry. That level of coverage is designed to illuminate the key trends at Salvador, and a 3D inversion is underway to better define the structures that may control mineralization.
The program is still in its early phases.
